The Buffalo Elementary School
community embraces each of our students in a caring learning
environment filled with high expectations!
As a Project C.L.A.S.S. (Connected Learning Assures Successful
Students) School, children at Buffalo Elementary are celebrated for
their individual strengths and talents. A standards-driven,
connected curriculum provides the foundation for students to excel
in all areas.
The responsibility for educating our children is shared by teachers,
administrators, support staff, parents, and community members alike,
as we work closely together to provide the support which is
essential for high student achievement. Collaboration and
communication are evident through school procedures, thematic units,
cross-grade instruction, curricular alignment, community Reading
Friends, study buddies, PTO, and School Improvement Committee work.
Buffalo Elementary is continually growing and improving. Parents and
community members can be confident in knowing that Indiana Academic
Standards guide teaching and learning for all children. Students are
achieving in all areas, as they become productive citizens!
