🌟 A huge thank you to Tomi Goodman, Structural Heart Coordinator, for visiting our students and teaching us all about the circulatory system! ❤️🩺 Our kids loved learning how the heart works and getting to listen in with real stethoscopes.
We’re also so grateful to IU Health Arnett for generously providing stethoscopes and sunglasses for our students—what an amazing way to bring science to life! 😎✨
Our hearts are full (literally and figuratively!) thanks to this hands-on experience. 💓

1st graders have been learning about fables in class so we had some fun with fables in STEM.In the story, The Gingerbread Man, the Gingerbread Man is outsmarted by the fox. Students had to build a boat for the Gingerbread Man to safely get across the river.

NWES PTO Message: Mum pick up is Thursday 9/11 from 5-7 pm. PTO will be outside the new gym (Door 2) on the lawn.
3rd & 4th graders did The Unpoppable Bag experiment in STEM.
